At NewSong, we not only encourage you to get involved, but we believe it is essential to your growth and the growth of the community at large. From small groups to bible studies to numerous community events, NewSong is constantly seeking new and exciting ways to interact, serve and support others. With the help of your church community, your involvement translates to faster growth, a more meaningful experience, and resources to encourage and guide you on your journey.

Worship
Few things can fertilize the soil of our spirits better than music and artistic expression. It speaks to our spirit in a language that words alone cannot convey.
The Worship Team’s mission is to prepare the congregation to receive God’s Word and Spirit through praise and worship. The Newsong Worship Team brings together experienced Christian musicians with some of our gifted youth and young adults.
All members share their love of music and their love of the Lord with our congregation to make Sunday mornings a special and meaningful worship experience. Worship offers the church body personal growth in the Spirit and fellowship in Christ.
We encourage those with individual talents to bless others with their God-given gifts.

Women’s Ministry
NewSong’s Ladies Ministry is intended to provide help and encourage the whole woman to recognize her potential and the calling in her life while enjoying her relationship with God. It also gives opportunities for the women of the church to get to know one another on a deeper level, study the bible together, and have fun!
Our activities in the past have included:
Bible studies, Craft and paint nights, attending women’s conferences such as Beth Moore’s or Women of Faith, Afternoon Tea, Hikes, Progressive Meals or Dining Out, and Prayer Retreats.

Men’s Ministry
The purpose of the Men’s Ministry is to be in unity and adopt the mantra of ‘maturity’ by accepting the responsibility of the spiritual headship of their respective homes.
There are two aspects to the Men’s Ministry:
The importance of putting God first in the men’s lives.
The men meet weekly on Saturday for a lively discussion about relevant topics affecting each of their lives over coffee and cake.

Being a place where men can come together socially to have fun and allow the boy in them to come out for a while.
These events include firepit fellowship, breakfast, Father and Son time, cycling, walking, and coffee.

Youth Group
“Youth Group gives preteens and early teens the opportunity to learn God’s word in a very real and relevant way. If God’s word is not taught to this age group in a way that directly applied to their everyday lives now in the younger years, they will not see God’s Word as relevant when they are adults.
Youth Group is an experience that aims to be fun while focusing to prepare kids to understand their Godly purpose and be able to explain why they believe what they believe.

Outreach

Come join or support New Song Community Church on the 2nd Tuesday of each month to prepare and serve a meal at St. Paul's Soup Kitchen. Housed at Eliot Church in Lowell, read their story here. Contact Danielle at ruth@newsongs.org for more information.
Kidsong
We strive to provide a safe, Christ-Centered environment where children are given the opportunity to learn about Jesus from loving and caring teachers. We see all children that enter KidSong as gifts from the Lord and strive to minister to them through love and example, each boy and girl is precious in His sight and ours!
Currently we have three areas of Ministry:
Nursery: infants- 2 years
Preschool: 3 years – 5 years
Elementary: 1st – 4th Grade

Hospitality
Jesus said, “…but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.” - Mark 10:42 NKJV
One of the many ways to serve the church and its community is through the appreciation of hospitality. At NewSong, coffee is the friendly staple and an essential mean of communing throughout Sunday services. Hospitality includes setting up the coffee service and cleaning up at the end of each event. We welcome anyone willing to join our Hospitality team.
Sound & Tech Team
Making beautiful music requires not only talented people on stage, but gifted people in the rafters. If you have experience, or even if you don’t, NewSong is always looking for the enthusiastic willing to help with lighting, sound, and presentation effects. We have gifted people eager to train you and broaden your horizons. And now to make it even easier, all of our sound and presentation effects are run with the use of tablets.
