WOMEN'S GROUPS"We proclaim Him... that we may present everyone mature in Jesus Christ." [col. 1:8]
Our women's groups build wholeness and balance - spiritually, mentally and emotionally - by providing environments for prayer and the study of God's Word, developing gifts, abilities and lasting relationships, and training women to find their places of ministry in their church, community and home to effectively touch their world for Christ.

UPCOMING STUDY:
ESTHER -- MONDAYS @ 7PM Join the NewSong women as they explore Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman on Monday nights this Fall.
The study explores God's providence and the hope He offers women facing challenges in our society. Esther, though a queen, lived as an outsider in a hostile environment. Her life offers an example for today’s woman who finds it difficult to live in someone else’s shadow, to see physical beauty take precedence over character, to face life-altering decisions, to move from self-preservation to brave determination, and to see mean-spirited people prevail. You will learn strong lessons of faith that will equip you to live a courageous life. The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's woman. Esther's destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner. For more details (order workbook online/bookstore), contact Edith Skelly (edithskelly@gmail.com). |
Women's HikesHiking is an incredible way to get a ‘whole body/interval workout’ without high impact. Many people feel a very strong benefit to their spiritual and emotional health as well as they enjoy God’s awesome creation.
Walks begin about 9:00 am and all you need is comfortable walking shoes, bottled water, snacks, and two layers of loose clothing (jacket for cool mornings). For more information, including meeting times and location, contact Karla Newman (978-902-0185) or Edith Skelly (617-909-4620) or email women@newsongs.org |
