Mark recently joined NewSong as a Teaching Elder, Creative Arts Minister and Interim Pastor. He is dedicated to being part of such a vital and growing ministry. He currently serves on the ERC Missions Commission and has been active in serving at Camp Yolijwa, Doubling Gap, PA. Mark served as the Senior Pastor for The United Church of God in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He served as Director of Creative Arts at Keystone Community Church in Saline, Michigan. He was a member of the Production Team, the Associate Music Director and the Advisor for the Youth Music Ministry and also was a member of the Worship Team, with responsibility to plan and participate in Sunday Morning Worship. Mark previously served at Hope United Methodist Church in Voorhees, New Jersey as Youth Music Director and as a member of the Worship Team. He has also served in the Eastern Regional Conference Churches of God as Youth Director for the Conference and Pastor of Shope’s Bethel Church.

Mark has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies from Asbury College and Continuing Education at both Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and Salem University. He is currently finishing his Masters at Winebrenner Theological Seminary. He was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA and attended Harrisburg First Church of God. Mark is married to his wonderful wife, Debra. They have a son, Brandon who graduated from Northeastern University and now lives in Cambridge, MA.
