CONNECT VIA:

Last Sunday we continued our third week in the story of Jonah. Pastor Travis focused on the principles of grace and obedience in relation to God's call in our lives and reminded us that while repentance turns us around when we run from God, obedience is what moves us closer to Him.

Last Sunday we celebrated Palm Sunday with Matthews Memorial Church. Pastors Ryan Reveley and Travis Jarrett preached from the events leading up to Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, focusing on the motivations and actions of Judas, Peter and Jesus before, during and immediately after Jesus entered the city and providing practical teaching and application for keeping our hearts connected to the heart of Christ.

In the third week of our Lenten teaching series, Pastor Travis preaches from John 2:13-17, examining Jesus' actions as he enters the Temple and clears out the money-changers and tradesmen from the Outer Courts. In this message, Travis connects the power of God to the nature & character of God and teaches key principles living with passion for the things of God.

In the second week of our Lenten series, Pastor Travis preaches from Mark 9:2-9, examining the Transfiguration of Jesus on the mountain. In this message, Travis encourages us to have a "Jesus alone" focus and challenges us to examine our hearts and lives, removing any "tents of worship" to someone or something other than Christ.

In this final part of our teaching series, "4 Ways to Live Like Jesus," Travis teaches from Mark 1 on the public ministry of Jesus and examines the issues and situations that arise when we live our faith in the public eye.

In the third week of this teaching series, Pastor Travis examines the life of Jesus and highlights the principle of living in community as essential to the Christ-like life.

We believe there is a difference between "acting" (imitation) and "becoming" (transformation).
In the first week of our new teaching series, "4 Ways to Live Like Jesus," Pastor Travis shares two characteristics of discipleship found in an encounter between Jesus and a man born blind.

In our third week of Advent, Pastor Travis shared that it can be difficult to fully understand the coming of the Son if we don't understand the heart of the Father who sent Him. Travis turned to 2 Kings chapter 7 to examine and discuss the unexpected heart of God the Father.

"Haven't we heard this all before?" In our second week of Advent, Pastor Travis outlines how to bring a fresh perspective to the story of Christmas by staying connected to Jesus, the Word.

As we launch our Advent teaching series, "The Unexpected," Pastors Travis Jarrett and Mark Schory ask the question, "What difference does the Incarnation make in my life?" and then turn to the Scriptures to find the response that Jesus' coming and return should instill within us.
