Things are finally warming up for NE weather! Many objects lost beneath the snow are now peaking out and that leads us directly to Sunday when we kicked-off our Lent series: Revealed. This teaching series is showing us how God has revealed Himself through historical events found in the Scriptures and, ultimately, teaches us how we can know Him more through Jesus Christ. Over the next few weeks we will examine the role of symbols, people and places in the Old Testament that were early representations of the relationship God desired to have with His people.

Here are some of the subjects that we plan to cover: The Ark of Covenant, Sacrifices, Redemption, Priests, Tabernacles, and wrapping it all up with Easter Sunday, The Resurrected Christ.

Now the introduction message was about: Do we have a need for the Resurrected Christ? And in that line of thought we reviewed sin. We saw God speaking to us on Genesis 4:7 - “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.”

And we ended with the perfect solution to our sin problem: Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Music from Sunday was "God Be Merciful to Me" (The Psalter), "I've Got a Song" (Hugh Wilson), ""Forgiven" (Hugh Wilson) and "The Wonderful Cross" (Hymn).

And that is the recap. Come and be part of this exciting Lent series and discover God through the ages and why He has revealed himself to us through Jesus Christ.
